Shade Cloth for 4x8' raised garden bed (dimensions are 8x10')

This 30% shade cloth (blocks 30% of light, which is recommended for our northern zone) can reduce soil temperatures and prevent bolting and bitterness of heat-sensitive crops like lettuce and spinach. It’s made of 100% UV-stabilized black polyethylene, which is naturally rot and mildew resistant. It’s also light weight, and has better ventilation and water permeation than woven shade cloth. It has a typical life expectancy of 5–7 years, but if stored out of the sun when not in use, it can last longer. Always hang shade cloth above your plants to provide adequate ventilation so heat doesn’t build up beneath it.
