1 plant/ 3.5” pot. Cauliflower can often be a challenge crop to grow in Central Oregon gardens because of its sensitivity to fluctuations in temperature. This season, we have a collection of more heat tolerant varieties for you to experiment with! Space plants 15-18” apart in rows at least 12” apart.
‘Puntoverde’: Estimated days to maturity in Central Oregon: 92 days. This green romanesco cauliflower is strong and rugged and produces a high-quality summer crop, even under stressful weather conditions.
‘Earli Snow’: Estimated day to maturity in Central Oregon: 60 days. Produces white heads of cauliflower.
‘Denali’: Estimated day to maturity in Central Oregon: 87 days. Heads are large, heavy, and self-wrapping. Good heat tolerance and widely adapted.
‘Purple Moon’: Estimated day to maturity in Central Oregon: 76 days. Great performing variety in warm weather and also makes an excellent fall crop.
