OUR SPRING 2023 INTERNSHIP POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED.
Join our Bend Urban Gardens team from April - June 2023!
Approximately 10 hours/week for 10 weeks @ $16/hour + 3-4 OSU Cascades internship credit hours
Duties:
40% Raised bed board prep and assembly/installation
40% Greenhouse duties, as needed: sowing seeds, thinning seedlings, fertilizing, transplanting, watering, etc.
20% Assisting at plant sales, garden workshops, garden lessons with clients & independent project to improve our standard operating procedures and/or client education, aligned to your personal learning objectives
Requirements:
Interest in ecological horticulture
Growth mindset
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work well under supervision and independently
Can receive and constructively apply feedback
Ability to lift 50 pounds
You don’t need to have any experience using power tools or growing plants, although it would be helpful!
