Worm Compost Bin Tower

from $35.00

Whether you’re brand new to composting or looking to add a non-plastic accessory to your garden set up, our handmade stackable veggie scrap compact composting solution is the tool you need to help you grow healthy plants with materials you already have on hand and are looking to dispose of!

In collaboration with local Bend maker, Tim Burnett of Doc of All Trades, each worm bin is made with meticulous quality from locally milled incense cedar. Evenly seasoned boards are chosen to minimize warping.

When the bottom bin is full of worm castings, simply add another tray above it and start feeding the worms in the additional tray. The worms will migrate up, making for easy scooping out of your finished compost.

Store your bin where the temperature is between 40 (they’d prefer 50) and 80 degrees, like in a garage, laundry room, pantry, basement or heated greenhouse. It may even fit under your kitchen sink!

Includes instructions for set up and care of your worms (keeping it odor free). Also includes a standard size baking sheet to catch extra moisture (leachate) below.

Each tray is made of full dimension 1x6 boards.

Please note that red wiggler worms are sold separately. We recommend starting with 1/2 pound of red wigglers in your bottom tray(s).
